Arthur Liebhardt
I work at the intersection of AI product development, technical leadership, and organizational enablement.
As part of SAP Business AI's Advocacy team, I help turn emerging AI capabilities into high-impact experiences and narratives for senior leadership and flagship events such as SAPPHIRE and TechEd. My role combines hands-on technical depth with cross-functional leadership, aligning product, engineering, design, and stakeholders around outcomes that make new technology tangible and relevant.
Alongside my work at SAP, I actively build SaaS products to stay close to modern tooling and product development workflows. Earlier in my career, I co-founded si:cross, where I built and led a remote engineering team and owned the product lifecycle end to end. That combination of enterprise leadership and founder-style execution continues to shape how I work today.
Why me
Leadership in AI-Native Transformation
At SAP, I lead the global Agent-Assisted Coding Initiative, giving me direct experience in driving adoption of new engineering workflows across a large organization. My work includes enablement, internal advocacy, practical education, and building a decentralized network of regional catalysts to scale knowledge and local ownership. I also use AI-assisted workflows in my own daily work, which helps me lead this space with both credibility and pragmatism.
Building and Scaling Teams
I have led teams in both enterprise and startup environments. At SAP, I have coordinated cross-functional groups to deliver high-visibility AI initiatives under tight timelines. At si:cross, I recruited and led a team of four developers in a fully remote, async-first setup, establishing the structures, communication rhythms, and delivery culture needed to operate effectively across distributed teams. These experiences taught me how to create clarity, autonomy, and accountability while keeping teams aligned around shared outcomes.
Cross-Functional Delivery
One of my core strengths is leading initiatives that span multiple disciplines. I regularly work across product, engineering, design, and executive stakeholders to translate emerging AI capabilities into tangible experiences and business-relevant outcomes. Whether shaping keynote-grade demos, driving internal adoption programs, or moving new concepts toward release, I am comfortable aligning diverse stakeholders and maintaining momentum in complex environments.
Technical Depth with Strategic Perspective
I bring more than 10 years of experience building production applications across cloud platforms, combined with a strong understanding of how technical decisions connect to product value and organizational priorities. My work spans the full AI product lifecycle, from contributing to SAP's Document Grounding Service and its pipeline API for automated document indexing and retrieval in SAP AI Core, to delivering the SAP-RPT-1 Playground as a compliant product release in four weeks. This allows me to lead credibly with engineering teams while engaging effectively with senior decision-makers.
Founder Mentality and Ownership
I bring a founder's mindset to every role: strong ownership, bias toward execution, and comfort operating in ambiguity. Across nine independently shipped SaaS products and multiple enterprise initiatives, I have repeatedly taken ideas from concept to production. What differentiates me is not only that I can execute hands-on when needed, but that I know how to turn that execution energy into team momentum, practical structures, and outcomes that scale beyond one individual.
Where I am still growing
Formal people management at scale.
I have not yet held a formal line-manager role with long-term responsibility for performance reviews, career development, and broader team planning. Most of my leadership experience so far has come through leading cross-functional initiatives, coordinating teams in high-pressure delivery environments, and building structures that help others succeed. At si:cross, I recruited and led a remote team of developers, and at SAP I have repeatedly driven initiatives that required alignment, guidance, and execution across multiple stakeholders. This is an area I would be intentional about growing into, building on the leadership foundation I already have.
Pre-sales and technical GTM leadership.
My background is stronger in product, engineering, enablement, and executive-facing technical communication than in a traditional pre-sales or Solutions Architect organization. I have experience translating AI capabilities into compelling narratives, driving adoption, and helping teams understand where new workflows create value, but I have not yet owned a dedicated pre-sales team or technical GTM motion across enterprise accounts in the classic sense.
Projects
Built at SAP for TechEd 2025 in record time, this playground was a major announcement that enables users to test SAP's new model SAP-RPT-1. Users can experiment with their own test data or use SAP-provided example datasets to explore the capabilities of the new AI model.
I led this project wearing multiple hats including Product Manager, Product Owner, Architect, Developer, and Code Reviewer. I successfully led a team of 5 people to deliver this high-impact project on an accelerated timeline for SAP's flagship technology event.

Built a legal-tech prototype using React Flow to visualize complex company structures and ownership hierarchies where I developed a custom algorithm to identify "beneficial owners" based on legal requirements for German compliance. I collaborated here with a lawyer and designer in a lean startup experiment to validate market demand - ultimately we decided to sunset the project due to lack of traction.

si:cross was founded in 2019 with the idea of introducing podcasts and asynchronous communication to businesses. Following positive feedback from major companies in Germany, we developed a mobile MVP and a web app for uploading and managing podcasts.
In 2021, we secured a pre-seed investment round to enhance our product and expand our team, which I now believe was a misstep as we did not have product-market fit. We hired three new developers and a working student. I led the development team with my technical co-founder, establishing a mixed environment that combined asynchronous and synchronous workflows.
In late 2021, we acquired our initial enterprise customer and introduced additional features. By the end of 2022, we decided to revamp the landing page and web app using Tailwind, inspired by Refactoring UI. The landing page used components from the tailwind CSS library.
Over the years, we developed a full-fledged mobile podcast player using React Native, accessible on the App Store and Google Play Store. In the web app, users could create, manage and plan podcasts and episodes. In early 2023, we integrated AI features to suggest episode ideas and assist in structuring interviews.
